Food for Life World Outreach

I want to share something that has been dear to my heart for some time and has now become a driving passion…

In James 1:27, we are told that "this is pure and undefiled religion to visit orphans, fatherless and widows in their distress..."

I’ve committed myself and this ministry to come to the aid and defense of the helpless and to protect the innocence of children who have been abandoned by parents and society. It's so easy for the fatherless to feel hopeless, rejected andunloved. That’s why we’ve determined to show as many as possible the unconditional love and acceptance of God and to let them know that they have value and are not forgotten!

As a ministry we have embarked on a mission to provide a meal to 20,000 childreneach day to let these children know that they are not forgotten, but they are loved! The Bible says that God so LOVED the world that He GAVE….God’s love had corresponding actionthat demonstrated His overwhelming love for us – He gave us what wasprecious and valuable to Him – His only begotten Son. In the same way, we are giving what is valuable to us, our financial gifts, to help feed these children daily. It costs literally pennies per day to provide a warm meal to a child.

I visited one of the worst slum areas in the world, in Kenya, Africa. More than a million people live in a 5 square mile area in Nairobi, Kenya in East Africa called Kibera, the largest slum in the world. Hundreds of thousands of children live in unimaginable conditions – no running water, huts with mud walls, sewage everywhere, no electricity, and for many, parents have died of AIDS. Often many of these children go to bed hungry and don’t know when their next meal will be.

But we have committed to do whatever we can to provide a warm meal for these children every day so they don’t go to bed hungry. We have partnered with 29 schools that are literally in the slums to distribute these hot meals to 20,000 children. Since we started our feeding program, these schools have experienced an increase of children because they have heard food is there.

You may think the need is too great. What can your donation do to make a difference? I’m not asking you to solve world hunger…..I’m only asking you to just save 1 child by providing them one meal per day. My goal is not to fight hunger, but my goal is to save a child’s life and you can do it by simply giving your best gift today.

Through this ministry, you are not only helping to share the life-changing Word of God with literally millions of people around the world, you are also fulfilling the mission of James 1:27

Let’s make a difference in the lives of these little ones. Thank you and God bless you!
