Life Changing Testimony
Power of Prayer & the Word -
Sandra
While I was in service, I had pain in the left side of my thigh and went to the altar for prayer. The person who prayed for me came against strokes, heart attacks, blood disorder and high blood pressure, though I never had any of those things. After church, the whole right side of my body went numb. I went straight to the emergency room. The doctors said my heart was racing and I was at risk of a heart attack or stroke.
Later, they told me I had a stroke and blood disorder. Fear tried to come upon me, but I remembered the Word of God. I began to speak to that storm trying to take over my body. I said, "In the name of Jesus, I speak to this storm and I say be still in Jesus’ name and leave my body now!” I spoke with the same authority that JESUS spoke in the boat with His disciples. I left that hospital in 6 days with nothing missing and nothing broken. In other words I left "WHOLE" just like that one leper!

Grief and Mourning

Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely He has borne my griefs and carried my sorrows and pains. He
was wounded for my transgressions; He was bruised for my guilt and iniquities.
The chastisement needful to obtain peace and well-being for me was upon Him and
with the stripes that wounded Jesus, I am healed and made whole.

and strengthen me according to the promises of Your word.
Psalm 18:50 Great deliverances and triumphs He gives to me; and He shows mercy
and steadfast love to me, His anointed.
Psalm 34:17-18 When I cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers me out of all my
distress and troubles. The Lord is close to me who has a broken heart and saves
me.

see the light.

spirit.
Isaiah 40:29-31 He gives power to the faint and weary, and to me who has no
might He increases strength (causing it to multiply and making it to abound). I
wait for the Lord (look for and hope in Him) and shall change and renew my
strength and power; I will lift my wings and mount up close to God as an eagle
mounts up to the sun; I will run and not be weary and I shall walk and not faint
or become tired.
Job 5:11 God sets me on high, and those who mourn He lifts to safety.
Psalm 30:11-12 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; you have put off
my sackcloth and girded me with gladness, to the end that my heart and
everything glorious within me may sing praise to You and not be silent.
Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.
Nehemiah 8:10 I will not be grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is my
strength and stronghold.
Psalm 43:2-5 You are the God of my strength (my stronghold--in whom I take
refuge) Why have You cast me off? Why go I mourning because of the oppression of
the enemy? Send out Your light and Your truth, let them lead me; let them bring
me to Your holy hill and to Your dwelling. Then will I go to the altar of God,
to God my exceeding joy. Why are you cast down, O my inner self? And why should
you moan over me and be disquieted within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly
for Him, who is the help of my sad countenance and my God.
Psalm 94:19 Lord, when my heart is in turmoil, quiet me and give me renewed hop
and cheer.
2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 May my Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God my Father, who
has loved me and given me everlasting comfort and which I do not deserve,
comfort my heart and my portion forever.

pains and sorrows).

encourage and refresh and cheer the depressed and the sinking.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the
Father of sympathy and the God who is the source of every comfort, who comforts
me in every trouble, so that I may also be able to comfort those who are in any
kind of trouble or distress with the comfort with which I am comforted by God.
Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort and consolation in my affliction, that your Word
has revived me and given my life.
Isaiah 51:3 For the Lord will comfort me. He will comfort all my waste places
and He will make my wilderness like Eden, and my desert like the garden of the
Lord. Hoy and gladness will be found in me, thanksgiving and the voice of song
of praise.
Isaiah 60:1 Arise from the depression and prostration in which circumstances
have kept you; rise to a new life. I shine and am radiant with the glory of the
Lord, for my light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon me.
Psalm 25:15-18 My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for He will pluck my feet out
of the net. Lord, turn to me and be gracious to me for I am lonely and
afflicted. The troubles of my heart are multiplied; bring me out of my
distresses. Behold my affliction and my pain and forgive all my sins of thinking
and doing. O keep me, Lord, and deliver me; let me not be ashamed or
disappointed, for my trust and refuge are in You. Let integrity and uprightness
preserve me, for I wait for and expect You. Redeem me, Father, out of all my
troubles.
